Well, it’s time people, we have just concluded looking over the print tests and making the final tweaks to London Gothic Chapter 1. The wait is almost over.
It’s been a ton of work to bring this story to life but it’s also been a very rewarding process. Nick and I decided early on that we would make no compromises in any aspect of the graphic novel and we hope you will be able to see the amount of love and dedication we have poured into it.
We wanted London Gothic to be a unique experience in comic books and I feel we have made that happen. It was important to us for the art style to be realistic to really sell the horror and dark nature of the story, to that end I’ve created detailed backgrounds and opted for a movie like quality to the book which after seeing the tests prints, I am delighted with the outcome.
We would like to thank all of our backers on Kickstarter for making this possible along with all our family and friends that have helped immeasurably and put up with Nick and I speaking about nothing else for over a year. We will update you as soon as we have the printed copies and are sending them out to all of you wonderful people who have pre-ordered.
Well, there is no rest for the wicked so I am going to get cracking on chapter 2!
